Doctor of Medical Dentistry

Dr. Jocelyne Hodgson is a Saskatoon dentist who received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2008 at the University of Saskatchewan and practiced in Saskatoon since then. She joined the Wall Street clinic as owner in 2014, and is motivated to provide excellent health care to every patient.
Advancements in dentistry require ongoing professional development and Jocelyne is passionate about keeping abreast of the best treatments available. Whether it’s solving painful problems, correcting sleep apnea, giving people beautiful smiles, or changing people’s perspectives about dentistry, Jocelyne is always rewarded by patients who say, “I had no idea it was going to be this easy, painless, quick, and would look this good!” She credits her cohesive, professional team for making each patient feel acknowledged and appreciated.

• After graduation, worked 4 years in the Canadian Forces Base in Esquimalt, BC, proudly providing dental services for our armed forces. Worked and learned under many military dental specialists.
• Then worked 4 years in Vancouver, clinical instructor at UBC dentistry, volunteer at the free Vancouver East Side dental clinic serving the underprivileged.
• Enjoys meeting new people and providing quality dental care
• Enjoys all aspects of dentistry but particularly quick and atraumatic wisdom teeth extractions
• Enjoys soccer, tennis, golf, volleyball, skiing, snowboarding, table tennis, roller hockey, and playing the piano
• Lifeguard and swimming instructor certification
• Speaks english, Cantonese, and some mandarin

Jill is a Certified Dental Assistant who received her training in Saskatoon at SIAST Kelsey Institute in 1986/87. In 1989, Jill joined the Wall Street Dental practice and has called it home ever since. She loves interacting with patients and helping create solutions to various issues. Her goal is to make each visit a positive experience for her patients.

When it’s time to play:

“When not working you will find me spending time with my husband Scott, our two children Ashlen and Kaden, and so many pets I sometimes lose track. I enjoy reading, going for long walks, being outdoors and especially spoiling my grandson Ari.”

Lisa, Registered Dental Assistant
Lisa was trained in the Philippines at the University of Perpetual in 2010. When she immigrated to Canada, she challenged the dental assistant exam, passed the theoretical exam at the University of Saskatchewan, and the practical exam at SIAST Wascana campus, and received her Canadian credentials. She worked with Dr. Piecowye at the Wall Street Clinic in 2013 and began working with Dr. Hodgson in 2014.
Lisa Marie loves getting to know the patients at the clinic, and accepts the challenge of learning new procedures and techniques. Working through challenges as a team member is invigorating. With a particular interest in cosmetics, she knows how much a healthy mouth and a great smile can boost self-confidence.

When it’s time to play:

“You’ll find me playing my games, biking with my nieces, or at the cinemas because I love watching movies.”

Paula, Registered Dental Therapist
Paula graduated from the National School of Dental Therapy in Prince Albert in 2008. She has a particular affinity for children and young adults. She performs basic dentistry, and worked at the Wall Street clinic from 2009-2012. She met her husband Jarin, and after three years in Macklin, they made the move back to Saskatoon. Happily for Paula’s team members and patients, she came back to Wall Street Dental.
Her passion for pediatric dentistry was sparked by her own childhood experience. Her dentist wore large framed glasses and Paula was fascinated to watch the reflection as the treatment was performed. She strives to make dental appointments for children and young people a pleasant and fun experience. She loves to watch a child’s face as she explains the procedures, and plays games to put them at ease. She takes pride in helping a child feel comfortable enough to look forward to each visit.

When it’s time to play:

“I love family time. Jarin, our daughter Ryan and I enjoy biking, gardening, camping, chariot and chuckwagon racing, and playing my husband’s traditional German family game of bunnock or “bones.” In fact, Macklin is the site of the German Bones World Tournament every August long weekend. We are outdoor people, but we also enjoy the city life and being close to our family and friends.”

Sarah graduated from the Dental Hygiene program, Saskatchewan Polytechnic (SIAST), in 2000 and has worked at Wall Street Dental for nearly 12 years. She loves working with such a close-knit group of professionals and looks forward to helping improve the oral health of clinic patients each day.

“You’ll find me enjoying time with family and friends, reading novels and cookbooks (I know, who reads cookbooks?), and travelling.

Jenna has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2009, and a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2011 and has been a team member at Wall Street Dental since 2011.
Her biggest reward at work is being part of a team that creates such positive outcomes for patients. To see excellent results in challenging cases is uplifting not only for the patient, but for the entire team.

When it’s time to play:

“I’m an active person so I enjoy biking, snowboarding or being at the beach with friends. But when I slow down, I like to watch movies or plan for my next travel destination!”

Keara, Registered Hygienist
Keara graduated from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in Ontario in January 2016, and has called Wall Street Dental home from the beginning. Keara has a passion for wanting individuals to be happy with their overall smile, and enjoys meeting and working with all of our patients.

When it’s time to play:

“I enjoy spending my spare time with family and friends, and taking my dog for walks. I am caught up on almost every TV show, and am a huge movie connoisseur. I also enjoy reading and exercising if there are no box office hits at the cinema.”

Meghan became a Registered Dental Assistant and graduated from the Keewatin Community College in The Pas, Manitoba, in 2003. She’s been at Wall Street Dental for 10 years, one with Dr. Hodgson. She has a passion for dentistry and enjoys handling clinic administration. She gets involved “chair side” to keep her skills current. She has a deep respect for the team who make the work environment fun, and says it’s rewarding to see patients satisfied with their care and thankful for the experience.

“I enjoy gardening, cooking, taking photos, belly dancing, and channeling my inner yogi.”
